It's a great job, location managing & scouting. Preparation is all: an opportunity to meet the people and explore the buildings and landscapes which will be affected by filming. It's a unique mix of the creative and practical, discovering shots which enhance the story; telling a story with photos to help your client understand where you&'ve been scouting as well as working out where all the kit and the & circus; is going to go. We're also responsible for parking, rubbish & keeping within budget.
