During my tenure as script editor/story producer at the BBC, I won ‘Services to Media’ at the British Muslim Awards for my work in improving diversity. In my first role as Producer for a popular BBC show, I delivered an ambitious episode that increased viewing figures and won ‘Scene of the Year’ at the British Soap Awards.
