I've been working on a freelance basis as an editor since 2022, mainly using Adobe Creative Suite. Most recently I’ve been working on informational client films for the likes of the NHS and Barnardo’s. As a freelancer reporting to a go-between company, and one with a small team, I’ve been trusted to fulfill multiple job roles at once - this includes steps of the production process all the way from client liaison to leading shoots and editing the final product.In 2022, I was an accredited photographer on behalf of ONOC (the Oceania National Olympic Committee) at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, relaying shots and stories for the news cycles of their twelve represented island nations.I am interested in gaining experience within the departments of Post Production and Sound. I have a keen interest in post and have been editing for many years. I'd love to learn Avid, and more about the process of online editing, since I've never personally seen the workflow at a scale like that. Sound is something that I really took to during my time on ScreenSkills First Break scheme (2024), when we were positioned as trainees across a new department every few days. I found the work incredibly rewarding and my time spent under the direct tutelage of the recordist was fascinating to me. I'm really captured by the technical aspects of TV and film production and how they work.
