I am a crew member in the early stages of a career in the Art Department looking to gain experience and pick up more professional work in the industry. My most experience in this regard was as an Art Department Trainee on Series 13 of Father Brown. I spent much of my time with the standby team; assisting the team with runner duties, dressing sets in preparation for scenes, and resetting props that were handled by actors. By the end of my time on the production I was able to take charge of the process on set, performing such tasks as moving and resetting dressing for camera between set-ups and monitoring props on set. It was an excellent experience and one I feel has prepared me fully for further roles in professional productions.
I have previous experience in graphic design and photography having produced a few pieces of work for local bands. This includes various pieces of album art, including full templates for physical CDs, promotional posters for social media, and promotional photography that has appeared in such publications as Prog Magazine. I hope to bring these skills to any prospective role within the industry and become a dynamic member of the art department team.Additionally, I have gained experience in many small or self-produced videos and short. This means I have had quite a bit a practice with the administrative and organisational aspects of the role which are base skills I feel would be useful on any production I work on.I am proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Davinici Resolve, and the Office suite. I also have experience with vector-based software such as Inkscape.
