I recently graduated from Camberwell College of Arts with a First-grade honours in Fine Art: Painting. Using my artistic sensibility I currently work in set dressing and prop-making largely for commercial events. I aspire to work in the art department for film and TV.
I have recently worked as an art-dept assistant on the 'Soundtrack to the Struggle 3', a Lowkey music video by Fully Focused, a youth-led youth-focused film production company. Since having such a positive experience on set, I would love to do more work to help tell stories as grounding, poetic and real as this. Outside of working as a prop maker and dresser for Dae Studio, I continue my artist practice of painting on old wooden tools as well as some surfaces I carve myself. These artworks I promote and sell independently are inspired by Baroque style art with a contemporary twist with innuendos and whimsical figures composed and fixed under a heavy gloss varnish.
