I am a runner with a few professional credits to my name. I have chaperoned and assisted crews from international broadcast companies, helped to set up lighting and cameras for video shoots in a large marketing studio for a major national supermarket and high street retailer as well as worked with talent and assisted in making content for TV or social media. In my day to day I am a Studio Runner for Sainsbury's Zest in Milton Keynes and we shoot stills and video for products for Argos Sainsbury's and Sainsbury's clothing brand TU. My role is mainly asset management ensuring products to be shot are booked, delivered and shot on time. I ensure there is no damage and that all facets of the product are present and correct. I also assist photographers and the video team with their equipment and use manual handling techniques to move not only product but equipment as well. In this role I have been on location shoots to listed buildings and had to navigate setting up and packing down whilst ensuring the building was not damaged in anyway. I have also assisted with the building, transporting and dismantling of sets. I have also had the privilege of being a Broadcast Assistant for Wimbledon in 2024 and 2025. In this role I have facilitated numerous shoots from international and national broadcasters ranging from filming matches to interviews with players or the public as well as talking head segments for news or sports show. I have assisted with lighting and taken on the role of location marshal to ensure shoots run smoothly. When at Wimbledon the role required long hours and lots of walking with occasional reception duties answering questions and handing out passes. I am ready and raring for my next challenge.
My special interest within Film and TV is within the AD Department as I hope one day to direct Film and/or TV myself. I love working with actors to create performances and characters. When I read a script I already start to imagine what the character looks and sounds like and imagine motivations and really what makes them tick. The collaborative and interpersonal nature of directing at any level is what interests me the most. Within my day to day life I am an avid superhero and Sci-Fi nerd I grew up watching and loving Star Wars and Doctor Who, I am also a massive MCU fan with Captain America Winter Solider and Spiderman No Way Home being among my favourites. However my absolute favourite superhero has to be Batman and I love what Matt Reeves has done with the character. I of course love watching Film and TV but I also like to read (I am midway through the Game of Thrones books) and I love to game although with a newborn I haven't been able to play for a while.
