With over thirty years of experience working in the performing arts, my skills and experience could be valuable to your team. I originally studied at the Royal Academy of Music and then at the Vancouver Film School. I have produced, directed, written and edited film and television and conducted opera, symphony orchestras and choirs. While the past few years have allowed me to explore my passion for music, my heart has always remained firmly rooted in film and television. I am now eager to re-enter this industry. Recognising that the industry has evolved since my last involvement, I am eager to embrace every opportunity with enthusiasm and contribute my experience from a beginner's mindset. I would be delighted to be considered for any position you feel my background makes me suitable for. I would be glad to start in an entry-level position.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Google Apps Suite, and Adobe Photoshop. I'm even familiar with programming languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks.Broad career and life experience: I am a natural communicator who will always represent you and the project professionally and positively. Maturity, creativity and adaptability: I quickly research and identify alternative solutions when a situation presents a challenge or hurdle. Adept at working in intense environments: Having experienced the pressures of deadlines, tight budgets and clashing personalities, I learned to respond to conflict with empathy, kindness and patience.Problem solver who enjoys collaboration: I assume that someone in the room always knows more than I do. Even in a leadership role, being open to input from others results in better outcomes. A perfectionist who respects schedules and budgets: I want every project I work on to be the best. Working with schedules and budgets informs the process rather than the quality of the outcome. Amiable & enthusiastic personality: Whether it's star cast or members of the general public, I will always engage politely, respectfully and discreetly.
