My career has been wonderfully varied, from Theatre to TV, Film and outside broadcast. At present, I specialise in period work either as a supervisor on main teams or crowd rooms. My recent credits include All Creatures Great and Small (Channel 5), The English Game (Netfix), Catherine the Great (Sky Atlantic) and Peaky Blinders, Gallows Pole & Les Miserables (BBC) sexy Beast (Paramount Plus). I am booked regularly for dailies in film and television in-between productions. For 12 years I was co-founder of Wigs Up North in Manchester so I am skilled in wig making, dressing and facial hair work. Growing and expanding this business has given me the ability to plan and budget effectively when working on productions.
I am passionate about period work and have specialities in wig making and application, facial hair, period hair styling and period makeup. I am an advocate of creative problem solving, be it with a design brief or other issues such as planning. My pride in my work comes for having a happy team who feel empowered, trusted and engaged. I love to mentor and train new talent.
