This traditional 'chocolate box' black-and-white village in rural Herefordshire, is renowned for its stunning timber-framed buildings, often called "black and white" houses dating back to the 1400s.

The village boasts an historic church, the Church of St Peter and St Paul, with a Norman south doorway, a 13th-century chancel and 14th-century tower and a spire that is the second-tallest in the county, and castle ruins.
