Im a production sound mixer with an extremely broad level of experience: Feature films like Kinky Boots (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Theatrical-release documentaries including TT3D Closer to the Edge. Many classic TV period dramas; Lark Rise to Candleford, Tess of the dUrbervilles among them. Far flung epics; ITVs Doctor Zhivago. Opulent crime; Miss Marple. Less opulent crime Silent Witness and even some musicals; Blackpool and Viva Blakpool. Ive operated with high budgets and a crew of five through to low budgets with me alone. My extensive documentary background has made me both flexible and pragmatic. I try and work with the same location sound crew whose experience and commitment matches my own. I have both BAFTA and RTS nominations. I spent 18 months in Sydney during 2012/13 where I was directing and producing a series of documentary films for The Sydney Conservatorium of Music, so I am well aware of the pressures of fronting a film.
