From an early age I have been searching for the best way to express my vision . I began with writing, drawing, photography and theatre but quickly found the only true manifestation of my dialogue with the world was through the medium of film. Film for me is a distillation of all the arts and allows me to speak with more creative fluency than any other medium. I am enthralled by the power and impact of images and the hold they can have over people whilst the addition of movement and sound gives the filmmaker the power to transform peoples thoughts and to stimulate their imagination. I want to make films that people want to watch more than once , which convey complex ideas indirectly whilst being informed by, and echoing, the society in which I live. The challenge of working with actors and crew in collaboration adds layers and a depth to my work which I couldnt achieve alone, and find immensely stimulating. For me filmmaking is not just an interest , but a voice and a vocation
