Hello, My name is Ayla Cuddihy and I recently graduated from the New York Film Academy with a BFA in Filmmaking and was awarded Magna Cum Laude for my high level of commitment and precision to my work and education. I recently moved from the US to the UK and am in search of new career opportunities. As someone passionate about filmmaking and storytelling, I am eager to put my skills to use and be involved in any way that I can. I have been working in the industry for the past five years and in my experience, I have been able to communicate and organize effectively amongst various department heads, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and keep a discreet, professional demeanor. In my recent experience working for Sundance Film Festival as a Production Coordinator, I was assigned to Academy Award Winner, Marlee Matlin, and her documentary crew. During this time, I managed her schedule, organized transportation, and assisted in interviews and Q&A panels all while maintaining discretion amongst the public for the privacy of her and her team. I also have extensive knowledge and experience of both on and off set tasks with everything from pre-production to post production. I am extremely adaptable to any situation and thrive in fast paced environments where I can always push myself to learn and grow. If there is something that I may not have been trained in previously, I’ll step up to the occasion to figure it out. There’s always room for another skill on my belt.I feel that thanks to all of my previous experiences, I have developed into a team player and problem solver who's eager to get to work.
