Description
I’m a broadcaster, producer, presenter and emerging creative director with a real love for human stories, emotional truth and work that makes people feel something.
I currently work in BBC Local Radio as a Production Apprentice, where I help produce live and pre-recorded audio, interviews, features, social content and community-led stories. My work includes researching, pitching, scripting, recording, editing and shaping ideas for broadcast and digital audiences.
Before moving into broadcasting, I built and ran my own interiors brand, Studio Gabrielle, which went on to be featured in British Vogue, ELLE Decoration, SheerLuxe and Ideal Home. That chapter gave me a strong visual eye, a deep understanding of brand storytelling, and the ability to spot what makes people connect with an idea, a place, a product or a story.
Creatively, I’m drawn to the space where style meets substance. I love stories about identity, nostalgia, music, wellbeing, interiors, reinvention and the messy, brilliant, complicated bits of being human. My style is warm, curious, honest and visually led, with a strong sense of energy and heart.
Alongside my BBC work, I host the podcast 13 Reasons to Try and have presented on international dance radio, blending music, conversation and storytelling. In 2026, I was named Best Radio Presenter at The Mainstream UK Ones To Watch Awards.
My skills include presenting, interviewing, podcasting, audio production, research, scripting, editorial judgement, idea development, creative direction, brand storytelling, social content, basic video editing, production planning and audience engagement.
I’m looking to grow across commercials, branded content, short-form documentary and presenter-led factual storytelling, particularly work that feels visually beautiful, emotionally honest and culturally relevant.
