I am a long time Film and TV lover with a passion to create and work in the Prop and or Set Dec departments. I have some experience on a local amateur dramatics productions and now just finished my first production on a HBO series in the prop department. I have really enjoyed learning about the Prop Store, how they log and track props, from purchasing to hiring. I have been lucky to get some time with the dressing team and on location set dressing. Also spent time on a location shoot with the prop standby team on a busy set which was so exciting to learn how it all comes together for the final shot. I have a full clean driving license and my own car
I have learnt to:- I have learnt British Sign Language Level 1 & 2- Archive Props. - Receiving Props- Storing Props for different sets- Return notes- some experience with painting and basic moulding and clay techniques- driver, own car- Role of buyer/petty cash buyer helping with options in prop storeI am keep to gain a lot more experience as a trainee in the Prop or set dec departments.
