Description
I am a BA Film and Creative Writing student at the University of Birmingham with a particular interest in cinematography and visual storytelling. Alongside my studies, I have developed experience in video editing, as well as creative writing across a range of forms, including screenplays, playscripts, short fiction, newspaper articles, and poetry.
On a shoot day, I’d bring a practical understanding of how sets run and a willingness—as a new entrant into the industry—to get stuck in wherever needed. Through my own filmmaking projects, I’ve gained hands-on experience with basic camera work, sound and lighting, and I’m comfortable adapting to different roles depending on what the production needs.
Alongside this, my work as a swim teacher has helped me develop clear communication, patience, and the ability to stay organised and calm in busy, fast-paced environments. My previous work in kitchen assistant roles also means I’m happy to help out with the smaller day-to-day tasks that keep a shoot running smoothly and support the wider crew.
