I am currently at the end of my second year of university, studying a BA in Television Production. As my course comes to a close, I am beginning to think about my next steps within the industry and where my skills would best be suited within the television industry. I have a passion for producing, as well as a desire to become a 3rd AD. As well as this, I have a desire to become a vision mixer, although that is a more technical role than I am used to and is dependent on training. I’ve learnt a lot of practical skills during my course and, paired with real-world production experience, I have gained confidence on set which I feel will lead me in good stead when I eventually make my way into the industry.
My special interests include all things production, specifically studio based works. The current areas and roles I wish to explore include 3rd AD, as I feel my social strengths of working as part of a team would help with managing crew. Furthermore, I wish to explore vision mixing more, as I aim to further develop my technical skills and focus on my ability to adapt and react quickly.
