Hi! I'm Sofia and I'm an aspiring production designer and current first year film student at Bournemouth University, with a strong passion for the production and arts in film. I have grown up and live in Birmingham as well as studying in Bournemouth and happy to commute for opportunities that I can I be a part of. I am highly motivated, reliable, and eager to gain hands-on experience in all areas of film and media, including behind-the-scenes production, creative development, and on-set work. Open to volunteering opportunities, I am committed to expanding my skills and learning from industry professionals.I have just been a production designer in my first year at Bournemouth University as well as a location coordinator which has enable me to gain hands on experience in these fields. I've also been able to gain some voluntary experience, I have volunteer to create social media content for Bournemouth Oceanarium (February 2026) and was a Design Assistant for a development company local to Bournemouth (Cordia Uk Property Limited, February 2023). Skills: Creative, teamwork, attentive to detail, drawing, painting (oil, acrylic), premier pro, adobe illustrator, location management.
Following my love for production design in my own time crafting spaces on sims 4 and designing each room with careful consideration of sim's personality and look.I love a bit of travel and that always means I'll always stitch together a filmic video compilation of my time there to test my abilities and play around with premier pro. I love cinematography and constantly take out my phone to test my ideas, which normally derives from a perfect golden sunset. I also love fashion, clothes and style is very important to me and I love this industry too. Whether that's reading the latest issues on vogue or scrolling for hours on Pinterest to find inspiration that sparks new ideas for me to play around with. And last but not least fine art and drawing, I've done painting for as long as I can remember including at A level. Massive canvases, abstract painting, realism and just seeing where I end up with a paintbrush. Sketching and painting people has been a key focus in my work, and particularly in photography too.
