Hi,I am Jelly, a Russian-born visual creative from Riga, Latvia, currently based in Bristol, UK. I moved to the UK in 2014 to continue developing my artistic and professional path. With a background in fine art, printmaking and media production, I completed my BA in Art & Printing at the University of the West of England in 2021. My practice is rooted in material exploration — from traditional print processes and painting to resin, textiles and object-based experimentation. I am particularly drawn to texture, surface, detail and the quiet storytelling power of crafted objects.Alongside my creative work, I have built experience across customer service, administration and management roles, as well as running independent entrepreneurial projects. These experiences have shaped me into someone who values organisation, structure and clarity as much as creativity. I enjoy developing ideas from concept to execution and thrive when balancing aesthetics with practical coordination. I am now looking to expand my practice into the film and media industry, with a particular interest in visual storytelling, art direction, set design and creative production. I am keen to collaborate on projects where I can contribute my eye for detail, material sensibility and strong organisational skills, while continuing to grow within a creative team environment.Outside of work, I am inspired by thoughtful design, strong coffee, long-distance running and animals — small daily rituals that keep me grounded and observant.P.S. Please feel free to explore my website for portfolio, projects and ongoing work — I keep it regularly updated. You can contact me via email.
