My name is Rafaela Mateus, and I’m a Hair Stylist, Makeup, and Prosthetic Artist with a strong passion for character design, period looks, medical realism, and creative storytelling through makeup.I hold a degree in Hair and Makeup Artistry and have worked both as a designer on smaller productions and as part of a team for short films, independent features, and TV projects. Leading the creative process from concept through to completion. These roles taught me how to manage continuity, collaborate effectively, and bring characters to life under real production conditions.
