I am an experienced writer with over 60 hours of UK broadcast television to my name. These include several episodes of BBC’s Casualty, as well as 86 episodes of Doctors, on which I was a core writer. I wrote for ITV’s The Bill for five years and Channel 5’s Family Affairs. Born in Middlesbrough, I worked in Scottish theatre, before completing an MA in ‘Screenwriting’ at the Northern Film School. I have developed projects with Kudos, World Productions, Norwegian producer Trond Berg-Nilssen, director Matt Winn and producers Helen Kalafatic and Vicki Letizia. I participated in the East of England Talent Module sponsored by Creative England and the European TV Drama Series Lab in Berlin in 2016. I was recently selected for the BBC’s Cosy Crime course and am currently writing for Father Brown.
