After 18 months on a BBC Apprenticeship scheme from 2022-2024, I was been given opportunities to work on a range of both scripted and unscripted productions which built my curiosity on accessibility in the creative industries. This soon sparked me to work on local/student films to build my confidence as an Access Coordinator and later joined the University of Wolverhampton to study ‘British Sign Language: Deaf Studies’ to get my Level 4 in British Sign Language and got more involved with the Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent communities/charities in my area to help build accessibility in the creative industry, education and in wider society
