I am a qualified and aspiring filmmaker with a strong foundation in storytelling, visual communication, and practical production work. I hold an MA in Filmmaking from the UK, which I successfully completed after moving from India with a clear focus on developing my skills in screenwriting, directing, and short film production. My creative practice is rooted in narrative-driven cinema, character-focused storytelling, and socially grounded themes, supported by a solid understanding of film language, genre, structure, and industry-standard script development.
Alongside my academic training, I have hands-on experience working as a videographer and photographer at Twinklespace Studio, where I worked part-time on studio-based and location projects while also working as a school teacher. This role allowed me to gain real-world experience in camera operation, framing, composition, lighting basics, and delivering visual content to creative briefs in a professional environment. Balancing teaching with studio work strengthened my time management, communication, and leadership skills, all of which translate effectively to film sets and collaborative creative spaces.
I am now actively seeking opportunities within the UK film and media sector, particularly in film production, assistant directing, script development, and entry-level crew roles.
