Description
I have worked in a variety of wardrobe roles in theatre across productions of different scales, supporting shows through rehearsals, technical periods, and runs. I bring a practical, organized, and calm approach to the day-to-day running of the wardrobe, with hands-on experience in costume making, maintenance, repairs, and laundry. I am comfortable overseeing dressing plots, supporting fittings, working closely with company members, and maintaining high standards across the department.
I am confident supporting the production wherever needed, whether that’s communicating with the designer, supervisor, or other technical departments, as well as keeping paperwork and costume bibles clear and up to date. I take pride in being reliable, approachable, and always willing to help, and in being a supportive presence within the team to help ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient backstage environment.
My previous work has included taking on greater responsibility within smaller shows, and smaller rolls as part of wardrobe teams on larger productions. This range of experience has helped me develop a flexible and collaborative working style. Alongside this, I enjoy continuing to develop my skills and am always keen to learn new techniques — I am currently learning weaving, which has deepened my interest in textile processes and costume construction.
