I am a 1st Assistant Director based in Leeds, working across Manchester, Liverpool, London and internationally on high-profile commercials, feature films and television productions.
I have extensive experience across high-end, multi-million-pound feature films, high-end television, TV commercials, music promos and online content, working alongside award-winning Directors, DOPs, Costume Designers and Make-Up Designers, as well as A-list, Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA-winning actors, elite professional footballers and global music artists.
I specialise in delivering fast-turnaround production days for international companies filming with top football talent, including projects at Manchester United FC, Manchester City FC and Liverpool FC, as well as major football sponsors across the UK and Europe.
My work has taken me to locations and studios worldwide, including the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Qatar and the USA. I have hands-on experience with a wide range of technical and logistical setups, including car rigs, motorbike tracking vehicles, boats, helicopters, fixed-wing aircraft, U-Crane tracking vehicles, Technocranes and jib arms, motion control, CG and green screen, stunts, VFX, drones, night shoots, horses, armourers, large crowds, and child performance regulations.
I am fully versed in production guidelines, working hours, health & safety and risk assessments, and am experienced across multiple formats including 35mm and 16mm film, as well as digital systems such as Alexa, Amira, RED and Phantom Flex 4K.
Alongside on-set leadership, I have many years of experience in movie scheduling and regularly schedule productions in advance.
