I am grateful enough to have been camera trained on a range of industry standard cameras from companies such as Black Magic, RED, Sony and Panasonic, by the likes of the BFI Film Academy 2019, New York Film Academy 2021 and London Film Academy 2021-2023, where I obtained my degree in Filmmaking. I particularly favoured 2nd Assistant Camera and have proved myself efficient with a clapperboard. I thrive working within a supportive team towards a shared goal, and am just as capable managing tasks independently where necessary. When assigned tasks, I am focussed and driven, and enjoy the chance to work in active, creative spaces with likeminded peers. I have a background in Production as a Production Assistant and Production Coordinator with a variety of companies, and have produced a number of my own shorts with my creative partners from home and throughout education. I have worked as a freelance videographer, using my Canon 250D, for a variety of promotional and live music events, editing them personally using Premiere Pro. Companies I have worked with include BFI Film Academy, Queen Bee Coaching and a number of renowned folk musicians.
I have always had a passion for character led narratives and being inspired by the extraordinary stories that come from everyday human actions, decisions and interactions. I grew up an avid reader and so stories have always been present in my interests.In addition, I have a number of hobbies including a deep enjoyment of sport. I am lucky enough to have been a regular attender of the Stretford End at Old Trafford from very young, and I was also a member of school and extra-curricular football teams into my late teens. As I progressed through my film career, I was unable to continue playing but maintained an interest in football and would jump at the opportunity to work within the sports media. I swim regularly, and am often found hiking through the Peaks or the Lake District when I have spare time.I have also played music from the age of 5, starting with the violin before moving onto other instruments such as guitar, tenor banjo and double bass. I always played a wide range of genres and have performed across the UK, soaking in live music atmosphere as I go.
