Description

I am entering film and television from a professional background outside the industry, with experience in startups, project-based work, and roles that involved working closely with CEOs and senior leadership. This has shaped how I approach work: I’m used to fast-moving environments, changing priorities, and situations where problems need to be addressed as they arise rather than passed along.

I’m used to working closely with decision-makers, which means I’m attentive to how information is presented and how timing affects outcomes. I focus on keeping communication clear and direct, and I try to avoid unnecessary complexity in how things are explained or passed on.

I’m comfortable taking direction and adjusting quickly when priorities shift. I ask questions when something isn’t clear and apply feedback as part of how I work rather than treating it as a separate process.

I have experience working in international and multicultural environments and across different communication styles. I’m fluent in English and French, and I also work in Arabic and Spanish. This has made me attentive to how tone, context, and meaning can change across language and culture.

I am open about the fact that I am new to the formal structures of the film and television industry. What I bring is experience working in fast-paced, decision-led environments, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a willingness to learn how this industry works by being involved in the day-to-day process.

Special Interests

I’m interested in how stories are put together for film and television, both on the page and on screen. I pay attention to how scenes are structured, how characters develop over time, and how small choices in pacing or point of view can change how a story feels.

I’m especially drawn to stories that reflect real life and how things like family, culture, faith, and social background shape the way people make decisions.

I’m currently writing my first feature film, which has made me more interested in the practical side of turning an idea into something that can actually be produced, not just written.

What I’m looking for is to be close to the process, contribute where I can be useful, and learn how projects move from early drafts and conversations into finished work.
