Highly skilled in all industry-standard script supervising software: ScriptE, Skarratt, Scriptation, PDF Expert, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word. I'm also excellent with a pen and paper.Flexibility is my ultimate asset.I understand that every job, every format, every project, every director, every crew is different and requires overt or subtle adjustments to workflow and collaborative process. While I serve the role of creative technician, 80% of my job is diplomacy between all manner of departments. I find ways to support my fellow departments and bring the best out of everyone to help the director get that precious "print take".I'm not a cold calculator. I'm an empathetic, confident problem-solver who knows the priorities of each shoot and the importance of a schedule. We're all trying to make our film/TV show as good as it can possibly be, and I have the communication, technical observation and nuanced understanding of how directors and actors collaborate. These all combine with a professional cool under pressure and good-humour to make me a valuable asset to any production.
I enjoy teaching and playing board games! I condense rules and make my own player aids for people, while organising several gaming groups. It's a great tool for developing diplomacy, novel problem-solving and communication skills.I also listen to as much new music as I can; usually progressive metal, jazz fusion and classical. I try to live my life as observantly as possible, whether it's music, the layout of a city or just awkward social situations.I also enjoy writing feature scripts and treatments. For now, they're just for myself, but perhaps in the future they'll come to fruition.
