Retired police officer now retrained as a First Response Emergency Care 4 First Responder. I work Freelance and provide professional, compliant, and fully insured medical cover across film, television, commercial productions, live events, training environments, and public gatherings.
Operating as an autonomous medical First Responder and Mental Health First Aider, delivering immediate assessment, treatment, and ongoing care for cast, crew, clients, and members of the public.
Duties include pre-event risk assessment, medical planning, and liaison with production teams, event organisers, and safety officers to ensure appropriate medical provision in line with industry standards and client requirements. Provides on-scene emergency care, minor injury management, illness treatment, and escalation to NHS services where required.
Qualified to FREC Level 4 with additional competencies including Safe Administration of Lifesaving Medication (SALM Level 3), wound closure (including staples), oxygen therapy, defibrillation, and Mental Health First Aid. Maintains full clinical governance, equipment readiness, documentation, and incident reporting.
Also responsible for delivering regulated and non-regulated first aid and life support training, ensuring courses meet awarding-body standards and client needs.
Upholds a professional, calm, and reassuring presence in dynamic and high-pressure environments, representing PH Medical Services with integrity, discretion, and reliability at all times.
