I’ve been a British Sign Language interpreter for 16 years, working everywhere from community settings to busy media environments. I’ve also been part of a Deaf media crew, which gave me the chance to work closely with Deaf creatives and be involved in projects that really centre Deaf stories. I love what I do and I’m all about making communication easy, natural, and accessible.
I’m really passionate about psychology — I’ve got an undergraduate degree in psychology and an MSc in Occupational Psychology. I’m especially interested in equity, diversity and inclusion, and how these ideas show up in our profession and the wider interpreting world. At the heart of everything I do is a drive to make communication fair and accessible.
