Hello, my name is Josh White. I’m a recent university graduate. I studied Film, Television and Digital Media at Royal Holloway, University of London.I am now searching for jobs and experience within the film, television and media industry.My main skills are in the camera and post production sectors:I have worked with a multitude of cameras, notably:Sony FX9, Sony FS7, Sony FX30, Lumix GH5 and ARRI AmiraI have experience in the following post production softwares:Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, DaVinci ResolveAlongside the traditional filmmaking skills I also have experience in social media management. I have run social media for multiple crowdfunding campaigns. Additionally I ran the social media for my university’s swimming society. Advertising multiple events and spreading information to 1k followers.I have also worked as a Tech Crew employee at the student union which gives me experience in Live Tech production. Across club nights I have set up club lighting and DJ equipment, ran it throughout the night and packed it up at the end of a club night.At the student union I have also filled the role of videographer, which has allowed me further experience in more corporate filmmaking. This has included filming and editing podcast episodes as well as promotional videos for different events that the SU runs.All the skills I hold make me a good candidate across a variety of projects and I hope to gain further professional experience and qualifications in the near future
My main interests lie in the camera department. I love experimenting with new equipment and discovering what it allows me to create and add to a final project.I’m a big fan of projects with strong styles and many of my past projects have been science fiction, fantasy and period pieces, which all held distinct visual styles.I also am greatly fascinated by the use of music. I have experience in filming music videos as well as using music within corporate pieces to build a certain atmosphere.I am truly open to everything and love to work on things I haven’t done before which present interesting new challenges.
