I began my career in film in Australia, working across a range of productions where I learned how fast-paced and detail-oriented the industry can be. I started as a runner and production assistant, supporting crews, talent, and departments by anticipating needs, distributing scripts, tracking equipment, and keeping communication clear. These roles taught me to be adaptable, reliable, and confident under pressure, balancing multiple tasks while keeping productions running smoothly.
I progressed to working as a production secretary, managing schedules, call sheets, contracts, and other key documents, ensuring information flowed efficiently between teams. I supported producers and directors by spotting potential issues, coordinating departments, and maintaining organised systems that kept projects on track. These roles allowed me to combine practical organisation with an understanding of creative workflows, developing skills in administration, logistics, and problem-solving.
In 2023, I moved to the UK and worked as a content producer, broadening my experience into project coordination and creative oversight. This strengthened my ability to manage multiple stakeholders, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining a high standard of work. It also reinforced my passion for storytelling and production, reminding me how much I enjoy the collaborative environment of film and television.
