I have been working in the camera department as a second camera assistant mostly in short films and as a camera trainee in high-end productions. I have learned a lot and got most of my experience, from working on set as a runner in previous years. Working in short films as helped me to understand fast paced environments and various responsibilities of a camera assistant, and the main support you have to give to your team. From feature films, documentaries, few commercials and most recently as a grip trainee on a HETV series (in order to build more knowledge of equipment and a bigger perspective on how to give full support to the camera department) Since April 2022 I worked full time on a kit house, based in London, and have to develop equipment and lights confidence and understanding. Im looking to expand and practice my knowledge and skills in the industry. Im super easygoing and hard-working with a real passion for film and storytelling. Originally from Portugal, speaks fluently English, and moderate Spanish and Italian. Based in London, but will go wherever work will take him.
