20 + years experience as Console Operator in Film, TV and Commercials coming from a background in Live Events and Touring for the 15 years previous to that.I have my own GrandMA lighting systems including a console for primarily Studio work with Luminex Networking Systems to interface with most modern studio setups. I also have a Peli Case system for smaller studios / Locations work. This includes remote Tablet Access to the control system which allows me to move around set with the Gaffer and DOP.I can also supply wireless DMX control and transmitters/receivers as required which proves very useful for last minute adjustments and changes.
I've recently been involved with quite a lot of work in Volume Stages where the lighting rig has been merged with a video feed to provide environmental lighting to a high precision.The largest of these was on Masters of the Air in Aylesbury but they are becoming more popular on Band 3 and even Band 2 dramas as the technology becomes more stable and economically available.
