I’m a recent graduate from Falmouth University in BA(Hons) Marine and Natural History Photography with interest in camera gear and natural world along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with interests in sensors and embedded systems. As part of my final year portfolio, I created a customised water tank, a mini model that shows the rising sea level in real time. This meant going through many failed attempts and restarting, having patience, researching and resourcing. The task was to create a tank small enough that it can hang off the wall or sit on a small plinth while holding 12kgs of salty water (dripped down at a consistent rate over defined period of the exhibition). Holding of the tank was important as it could damage other’s work in the exhibition.In my first attempt, I re-used glass from old photo frames however they couldn’t hold the weight, and the tank broke through the centre.Exhibition date was approaching fast and getting a tempered glass was not possible. So I went for 6mm float glass after checking with glass experts and that did hold. In the meantime, I made sure the overhead tank was ready, and the drip rate was checked and set to right position. The Final step was to assemble all together and put a fail check in place.The display worked as expected to showcase my 8 months of work in few hours, getting praises from my lecturers and professionals.I’m flexible working on location (I don’t have a dependent) and in office. I have a full international license with 12 years of driving experience upto 5m long vehicles and a provisional UK license with an aim to get a full licence by March 2026. Further, I have experience with camera gear, tracking rails, lighting, drone and underwater systems. I will also bring the same patient, resourceful and hardworking attitude to any role.
