Description

A versatile, enthusiastic and creative communications professional with a range of experience across event coordination, digital content creation, film programming, and administrative research. I am now seeking a role as a production runner, location marshall or sound trainee. Previous on-set shadowing and training have equipped me with technical knowledge and the ability to thrive in fast-paced work environments, adapting to any task given to me.

Worked as a runner on an Iris Prize selected short film, produced in partnership with BFI and National Lottery Community Fund - supporting various departments on an 8-day shoot. Coordinated talent on set, transported and
organised equipment, helped set up locations for shooting.

Shadowed the sound department on a BFI-funded short film. Worked directly with the Sound Recordist & Boom Op, gaining technical on-set experience. Handled equipment and charged batteries. Filmed a documentary produced by Belle Vue Productions at Manchester Museum and Manchester Together Archive (Canon XF605 &
Sony UWP-D21 LAV mics). Assisted freelance filmmakers, filming staff interviews and footage around the museum. Completed Beyond Brontes Screen Yorkshire Training - 6 weeks of training as a Sound Trainee and Production Assistant, from industry professional mentors.

Special Interests

I’ve delivered high-profile events and campaigns for organisations such as the BFI, Big Life Group, and George House Trust, creating digital video content on various platforms.

Various additional experience within Marketing and Film Programming. I am currently a pre-selection judge for Manchester Film Festival, helping to preview and
curate the short film programme for MFF 2026. I recently started the community cinema ‘Transmissions’, which platforms the work of Trans filmmakers whilst raising funds for local Trans non-profits. For this, I sourced funding BFI & Cinema For All. I lead on all event coordination, marketing and PR, including logo and graphic design, copywriting and liaising with funders and venues.

I have trained as part of Screen Yorkshire’s Beyond Brontes Screen Diversity Programme in 2024 and shadowed on BFI-funded short film production ‘UNCOOL’. As the Deputy Manager of student TV station ‘FUSETV’, I have experience as a camera operator on multiple projects, including filming
live theatre for the 2024 MIFTA Awards.
