I have been interested in film for a long time. At university, I was the Secretary of two film-related societies: the Twin Peaks Society (dedicated to David Lynch) and the Horror Society. A large part of this role was organising events and facilitating discussions. This is part of a long-held interest and passion for film. The notion of contributing in any way to the industry, drawing on previous experience as a events steward, is something that excites me a lot. I do volunteer work with a non-partisan political group, including research and engaging with other members.
