Description
Throughout my career in Theatre and Film, I trained at the Miskin Theatre, where I obtained Level 3, Level 3 extended and Level 4 Professional Diplomas in Performance.
I've volunteered in several student films, taking on production roles such as - D.O.P, Camera Op, Gaffer, Director, First AD, Continuity Supervisor, Sound Op, Scriptwriter & Runner. I've also written and produced my own independent short films. Last December, I had the privilege of being part of an accredited Short Film Premiere, at the BFI London Southbank studios. This was thanks to a production course led by industry professionals from the BFI & the Young Film Academy, who trained me for DOP and lead Camera Op for the film Faade. Due to my involvement in these, Im able to operate various pieces of industry-standard equipment, such as EOS and DSLR cinematic cameras (Canon C-100 & C-300), spherical lenses, shotgun mics, boom poles, LED lights, dolly tracks, stabilisers, shoulder rigs and screen monitors.
Being part of various productions has allowed me to develop useful attributes that I continue to develop during future projects. I consider myself a pragmatic individual who enjoys taking on jobs that will challenge me and I prioritise completing tasks to the highest standard. I pay strong attention to detail and absorb new information quickly. Im quick to settle into different workspaces and can adapt to new environments. As a team player, I can collaborate and communicate with people efficiently, including people I've never worked with before. I pride myself on my organisation Im able to manage my time wisely even when having numerous tasks to complete and can resolve unexpected problems using my initiative.
Im passionate about working in the Camera Department as a DoP, Camera Op or Camera PA. Helping to set up equipment, rig equipment, focus pull or as Best Boy. However, I'm motivated to help out in any way possible, no matter what the job role consists of.
