I am a freelance filmmaker based in Bristol, UK. I recently graduated with honours (First Class) from Bristol Film School, where I studied for three years in Boom Satsuma's BA (Hons) Filmmaking Production degree course. Boomsatsuma University has allowed me to discover a wide range of roles in the Film and TV industry. From creating multiple short films, I have been able to adopt multiple roles to help find a role I enjoy doing and that is best suited to me.Bristol Film School has been able to provide me with lots of opportunities for me to do while studying to be able to get work experience and meet people in the industry to make connections, this has since allowed me to get my foot in the door and get a job as a freelance Floor Runner with Happy Hour Productions.This has made a big impact for me, as since the first year I found myself getting multiple jobs as a runner and marshal working on both feature and TV commercials. Through work experience, I have been able to move into the pathway of working as a Camera Assistant and now I am in the possess of finding out more about this role Currently I have been able to get work as an AC and Clapper Loader on indie and corporate films. During the summer of 2023, I was able to join a casting agency which allowed me to get jobs working on set as a supporting artist / Body double on TV shows and Feature Films, further allowing me to experience what it is like being on a professional high-end film / TV show set.
I am extenuating interstate in being able to work more in the camera department as a Camera trainee after being able to work so much as a 2nd/Clapper loader in more short film content. I feel very lucky to have been able to work as a runner on so many different productions including future films TV commercials as well as a TV show however I would like to show my personal interests by stepping up into the camera department. I am so fascinated towards this that I have been able to invent into my own high end kit in which I always supply on any shoot I am able to get onto working as a camera assistant/loader as well as my personal consumables for camera.
