I am currently studying Level 3 Media at Northampton College, where I am developing a strong foundation in media production, communication, and creative problem-solving. My course has given me practical experience in areas such as filming, editing, scriptwriting, and media analysis, while also building my ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
Academically, I achieved a Grade 7 in GCSE Media, demonstrating both my creativity and analytical skills, as well as a Grade 7 in English Literature and a Grade 6 in English Language, which have strengthened my writing, critical thinking, and storytelling abilities. Additionally, I hold a Grade 4 in Mathematics, showing that I am able to approach tasks with logical thinking and accuracy when needed.
I am enthusiastic about gaining experience in the media industry and applying my skills to real projects. I am eager to learn from professionals, contribute creatively, and build on my knowledge of media production, digital platforms, and communication
Special Interests
I have a strong passion for on-set production roles, where I can gain hands-on experience and understand the collaborative process of filmmaking from the ground up. My ultimate career goal is to become a film director, and I am committed to building the skills, knowledge, and industry experience that will help me achieve this.
I am especially inspired by directors such as James Gunn, Quentin Tarantino, Tim Burton, and Edgar Wright, whose unique styles have shown me the power of creativity, individuality, and storytelling in film. From Gunn’s ability to blend humor with heart, to Tarantino’s bold dialogue and non-linear narratives, to Burton’s gothic imagination and Edgar Wright’s sharp visual comedy, each has influenced the way I think about directing and developing my own voice as a filmmaker.
My special interests include working on set in roles that allow me to learn directly from production teams, whether that involves assisting with camera work, supporting directors, script supervision, or general production assistance. I am particularly drawn to narrative film, but I am also eager to explore different forms of media to broaden my creative perspective.
Ultimately, I am passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and the craft of bringing ideas to life on screen. I am eager to take every opportunity to learn from professionals, contribute creatively, and continue growing towards my long-term ambition of directing films.
