I have a Masters Degree in International Film Production. I have been teaching Film & TV at the Pauline Quirke Academy for over 5 years. In this job I teach the fundamentals of filmmaking from Pre-Production to Post Production and all of the elements involved in filmmaking. I am also a Film Lecturer at Leicester College and one of my films has currently been shortlisted for an IntoFilm Award. I have worked with numerous filmmakers and become a crew member for a variety of different short films and projects. I am great at working in a team, budgeting, prioritizing, organizing, directing and communicating. I have a lot of experience in these areas and I am comfortable with talking in front of people and to a crowd. I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Acting and Creative Performance Practice. Due to this, I can communicate to a large crowd, have confidence in delivering messages to people and working in a team with those people.
I have a keen interest in getting into Running for productions as it seems like a very fast-paced job in a busy environment. You also get to meet and collaborate with a wide variety of people. I also have a keen interest in Cinematography. I have a very good attention to detail and a steady hand that can help me create the perfect shots and angles I desire for my projects. I also love Directing. After reading a script, I will have a clear vision in my head that I can communicate to other members of the crew to help work together to create the desired look. I am also comfortable talking to and working with actors as I am also an actor myself. As an actor, I know what the director is looking for, so I know how to behave as an actor. As a director, I know what an actor is wanting to get out of the project so I know how to communicate to the actors on set.
