Sophie is an Intimacy Co-ordinator and Director, certified by the National Film and Television School with a broad resume of creative experience across stage and screen, support work and sexual violence prevention. Her flexible process is informed by the creative insight into the actor-director process acquired throughout her undergraduate studies in Drama (Theatre, Film and Television) and further vocational training in performance and directing at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre. This passion for artful storytelling is at the core of her collaborative intimacy practice. Sophie’s background in Facilitation, Consent & Sexual Violence Prevention Education have influenced her trauma informed approaches. She supports production teams in developing consent forward processes to create captivating intimate scenes with artistry, nuance and sensitivity.
