A junior production manager experienced in assisting teams in production anddevelopment, across a range of genres including scripted, Live OB’s, reality/docs, andfactual. Providing support in the office and on location from pre to post production.
I was a Junior Production Manager at Lion Television working on the Bafta award winning scripted television sketch show Horrible Histories. I worked on series 9, 10, 11 and the new series Horrible Science. I was based in the office, studio and on location from pre production through to post and delivery. On these productions I sent job offers and contracted crew. I distributed editorial and production paperwork including scripts, call sheets and risk assessments. I assisted in managing and training the production coordinators and runners. I liaised with cast agents regarding availabilities. I worked with legal to distribute writers agreements. I updated cost managers, raised purchase orders, processed invoices and worked closely with the production team to ensure the productions stayed on budget.Working in a fast paced environment with a large cast and crew meant I had to manage my time extremely well, be thoroughly organised and remain flexible to changing needs. I very much enjoyed assisting the team at Lion and the varied nature of the job role itself. I felt I thrived in the position and it really highlighted my strengths in being able to remain calm under pressure, be a great team player and have strong attention to detail.
