My training at Wimbledon College of Art has given me a strong foundation in costume design and making, with both hands-on experience and formal teaching in costume design, pattern drafting, garment construction, alterations and dye and breakdown work. I approach each project with a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and a resourceful mindset—often working within tight budgets and using inventive methods and materials to bring ambitious ideas to life.Since graduating, I have worked as a Costume Assistant on two productions that went to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where I gained valuable organisational skills such as managing information through spreadsheets, attending fittings, and carrying out alterations. I am also currently working as a Costume Maker for Quirk Theatre, creating bespoke pieces including a knitted hat and a pullover jacket, while assisting with other elements of the production.
