Rachel works within the production department for narrative and documentary feature films. She has experience as a Production Coordinator for a range of features including BBC/BFI 'Bird' (Andrea Arnold); BBC/BFI 'Edge of Summer' (Lucy Cohen); and international feature documentary 'Tony Foster: Painting at the Edge' (David Schendel). Furthermore, Rachel has experience as Production Assistant, Assistant Production Coordinator, and Production Manager for short and feature films funded by various bodies including Netflix and the BFI Network.As well as this, Rachel has a strong passion for producing meaningful, memorable and unique short films that hope to encourage social, economic and environmental change.Having won a selection of awards in 2022 and 2023 for her short film 'Underbelly', including 'Best Film' at BFI Future Film Festival 2023, Rachel has now set up her production company Arvensis Films, which hopes to give a voice to creative writers and directors, from all backgrounds and walks of life, whose stories have the potential to inspire, educate and entertain. Arvensis Films also encourages, leading through example, inclusive, ethical, and environmentally focussed filmmaking on and off screen.
