I am a passionate Film Maker striving to build a successful career in the world of Production Design. I have recently graduated UWE with a First Class BA Hons in Film Making. During my time on the course, I have developed my skills and understanding of the roles within the art department. My main discovery whilst on this journey is the importance of organisation skills that ensure a successful production. The experience has allowed me to expand my tool kits in all aspects of the job. Whilst at UWE, I have been credited Production Designer on 6 projects, including 3 set design and builds. I have proven to develop my craft and workflow. With each project I gain a greater understanding of what it takes to successfully bring designs to life.I recently (March 2025) received an RTS Craft Award for my designs on our 2nd year film. I understand I have a lot more to learn within the world of the Art Department in TV and Film. I feel I am now ready to make the crucial jump from student to professional level. I am seeking work and experience in art departments across the south west of UK and London.
I love period pieces. During my time at UWE I designed three period set films. One in a cafe in 1927 Fergus Falls. One Cowboy flick set in Texas 1880. And my grad film, a film sharing a message of hope during the Prague Spring, set in Prague in 1968 and 1970. Sci-fi is something I've begun to gain experience in. I koved working on what happens on earth. I am a big fan of Dr Who, which defiently had influence on our creative process. I love all parts of the job. From script breakdowns to set stikes. Each part of the fabriction journey is special.
