I am a passionate Film Maker striving to build a successful career in the world of Production Design. I have recently graduated UWE with a First Class BA Hons in Film Making. During my time on the course, I have developed my skills and understanding of the roles within the art department. My main discovery whilst on this journey is the importance of organisation skills that ensure a successful production. The experience has allowed me to expand my tool kits in all aspects of the job. Whilst at UWE, I have been credited Production Designer on 6 projects, including 3 set design and builds. I have proven to develop my craft and workflow. With each project I gain a greater understanding of what it takes to successfully bring designs to life.I recently (March 2025) received an RTS Craft Award for my designs on our 2nd year film. I understand I have a lot more to learn within the world of the Art Department in TV and Film. I feel I am now ready to make the crucial jump from student to professional level.
I am keen to work within Fantasy, Sci-fi and Period Pieces. I am an avid researcher when working on projects, and love ideas I can really get stuck into. I love working with small budgets as it offers a different type of challange. Working with a tight budget means you have to come up with inventive ideas to problem solve and create.I am open to all and everything. I want to gain as much experience in all areas of the industry. I realise I have a lot to learn, but also, now have a lot to offer to any proffesional art department.
