Description
I’m a 22-year-old filmmaker from Birmingham, England and a proud First Class Honours graduate in Film and Television Production from the University of Hertfordshire. At university I worked on diverse projects including live studio music videos, documentaries, interviews and short films, developing strong skills in pre-production, on-set work and post-production.
I’m confident with cameras such as the Canon C300, Sony FS7 and Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro as well as lighting and audio equipment from Aputure, Swit, Sekonic and Sennheiser. My post-production expertise includes Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X and Avid Media Composer. Whether lighting a set, capturing sound or editing, I enjoy every stage of the craft.
Often the go-to production manager or producer, I have led award-nominated shorts, documentaries, celebrity interviews and live music videos. I am skilled in scheduling, budgeting, team coordination and risk assessments, often creating detailed plans for my cohort. Comfortable running small shoots solo or collaborating on large productions, I bring structure, organisation and adaptability to every project.
I began writing during my time at university and my most recent script, which has been nominated for an award, is about to start a run at the Hertfordshire and Student Film Festivals.
My skill set includes effective communication, teamwork, problem solving, original thinking, time management, cultural sensitivity, collaboration, production scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, crew and cast hiring, call sheet creation, location scouting, logistics, contract management, screenplay formatting, scene structuring, worldbuilding, character development, pacing, pitching, research, Celtx, Microsoft Word proficiency, interview filming, remote production and historical and cultural research.
Above all, I am passionate about telling stories that connect with audiences and working closely with creative teams to bring ideas to life.
Special Interests
When I’m not behind a camera or on set you’ll often find me on a football pitch, golf course, badminton court or tennis court because I love anything that gets me moving and a bit competitive. I’m a big movie fan with a soft spot for stories that stick with you. My all-time favourites include Star Wars Episode V Empire Strikes Back, Training Day, The Goonies and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I also have a lifelong passion for WWE and wrestling because there is something about the mix of athleticism, drama and larger than life characters that I cannot get enough of. Above all I am very family oriented and nothing beats spending time with the people who matter most to me.
