I am currently working as an Art Department Coordinator on Peaky Blinders. My current responsibilities include budget tracking, creating schedules, raising purchase orders, and distributing drawings. I am looking to pursue further roles in HETVPrevious experience includes working as a Production Coordinator on Masterchef. My role included creating and distributing call sheets and schedules, organising travel for 40 contestants, guests, and talent, and coordinating logistics for location shoots across the UK and abroad. I was promoted to this role after working as a Junior PC on Celebrity Masterchef. My key skills include working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, problem solving, and forward planning. I am comfortable using PMI, and enjoy financial administration. Previous experience includes working on The Archers, BBC, (April 24 - Oct 25) where I still occasionally freelance in studio. Having worked at the BBC, I am familiar with systems including Proteus and SAP, as well as BBC guidelines and policies. Specific to my role on The Archers, I worked in Studio recording episode timings, formatting scripts and regularly contacting Agents and Cast. My career started when I was enrolled in the BBC Apprentice Hub- Media Production Coordinator Apprenticeship. During this time, I was placed with Full Fat TV where I gained a Junior Production Coordinator and a Production Secretary Credit for S5 and S6 of The Bad Skin Clinic. I have also assisted with Musical Masterpieces for Sky Arts and A&E Crash Scene Emergency for Channel 5.As a PC, I have become familiar with all stages of the production wokflow, managed actors, contributors and talent, and demonstrated my ability to be organsied and efficient whilst working on a fast-paced programmes. In addition, I have ensured TV productions have earned Albert certification, but I would like to work harder to ensure the industry itself becomes more environmentally sustainable.
When studying Drama and English at Uni, I wrote my dissertation on Finding Catharsis in sharing Post Trauma Writing. I am interested in the power of storytelling and the communication of how this is done.My background in theatre means I am keen to get back into drama, with a particular interest on working on adaptations of novels, whether classic or contemporary.
