Having re-joined the industry in mid 2022 I have quickly developed my skillset in the camera department, and Im always on the lookout for new opportunities to further progress and contribute to a crew. Im currently looking for any opportunities that would allow me to fill the gaps in my knowledge whether that be shooting single camera dramas, commercials, documentaries etc. It would be fantastic to work as a trainee on a large-scale production or continue as an AC on a variety of other projects up and down the country. Having briefly worked as a runner and 3rd AD on a several productions in 2022 I was able to accrue new contacts which lead me to combining my previous experience working as a Grip trainee/assistant into a Camera Assistant role. Spending most of my time working in the West- Midlands as the Camera Assistant for BBCs Doctors, I had to quickly adapt to working in a revolving crew and learn new systems. Assisting 2 operators using Sony F55 cameras whilst shooting an average of 18 pages per day required me to rapidly adapt and acquire a thick skin. Working dailies as a trainee on higher budget productions has allowed me to broaden my understanding of the wider department and has made me more aware than ever that there are so many aspects of the profession I am yet to learn. Priding myself as being one of the first in and last to leave, Im always willing to go the extra mile and Im grateful for any chance to work in a team of professionals contributing wherever I can. I have a genuine passion for the industry and media of all forms. Im confident that my enthusiasm, maturity and communication skills would combine to make a valid contribution to a crew.
