Paul Dixon has been a freelance lighting camera op and advertising/commercial photographer since 1988, In 1998 he opened Courtyard Studios in Kent, a well equipped 5,5000 sq ft production facility with two coved stages with overhead lighting rigs and additional domestic locations. His studio B is a dedicated sound stage and is regularly used to film interviews, green screen etc. Shooting both in the studio and on location Paul mainly shoots TV commercials, TV idents and educational/corporate production, but also has experience producing and filming TV documentaries and shooting current affairs for the BBC. His wide ranging skill set include producing, directing, lighting, camera ops, green screen, set builds, post production, aerial filming and commercial photography. Paul has enjoys mentored young filmmakers starting out in the industry on projects run by the BBC and BFI. His main interests are in architectural,history, science and educational documentary and children's entertainment filming.
